LAS VEGAS, Nevada—The Accrediting Bureau for Health Education Schools (ABHES) recently recognized Nevada Career Institute (NCI) with a five-year reaccreditation renewal. Following an extensive review process, which culminated in a two-day campus visit from ABHES evaluators, the accrediting agency awarded NCI with the longest grant possible.

The recognition marked the close of a year-long process, which included an extensive self-study and culminated in a two-day campus visit from ABHES evaluators.
The California Association of Private Postsecondary Schools (CAPPS) recently recognized North-West College (NWC) student Cherie Hester as the recipient of the 2017 Marsha Fuerst Memorial Scholarship. Created to honor the legacy of North-West College Founder Marsha Fuerst, the $3,000 award is designed for female students currently enrolled in a Medical Assistant program and open to students at any CAPPS member school.

Set for a period of five years, the accreditation is a testament to the program’s strict compliance with CAAHEP’s rigorous standards.
The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) awarded initial programmatic accreditation to North-West College’s Surgical Technology program at its Long Beach campus at its May 2016 meeting. The five-year accreditation followed a rigorous review process, including a self-study and two-day inspection of the Long Beach Surgical Tech program.
North-West College honored Citrus Valley Health Partners (CVHP) with its 2015 Distinguished Clinical Partner Award at the college’s annual holiday luncheon and award ceremony on Friday, December 11th.
