Nevada Career Institute (NCI) is expanding their program offerings this year with the addition of its new Business Office Administration program. The program will prepare graduates for entry-level employment in a professional business office setting.
North-West College (NWC) is pleased to announce that not one, but two, of its campuses have been recognized with the prestigious “School of Distinction Award” by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). North-West College, Long Beach and North-West College, Santa Ana have both earned this esteemed award.
Leaders from Success Education Colleges came together for the organization’s Sixth Annual President’s Retreat last week in Laguna Beach, California. The two-day event provided members of SEC’s Leadership Team and leaders in training a chance to focus on improving leadership skills, participate in team building and gain new insights into the evolving world of career education.
Over 330 Team Members from North-West College, Glendale Career College, Nevada Career Institute and SEC’s Campus Support Team gathered together at the Ontario Convention Center in Ontario, California on Friday, May 12, for Success Education Colleges’ First Annual Professional Development Conference (PDC).
On Sunday, May 7, 2017, North-West College and Glendale Career College, along with family and friends, recognized graduates at commencement as they received diplomas in health care professions such as Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting, Massage Therapy, Pharmacy Technician, Surgical Technologist and Vocational Nursing.
As part of its commitment to offering convenient locations throughout Southern California, North-West College (NWC) recently purchased a two-story building on Haynes Street in Van Nuys. The acquisition comes after NWC leadership learned of demolition plans for the building that currently houses the College’s Pasadena Campus, located at 530 East Union Street. For more than 30 years, North-West College Pasadena has trained students in short-term programs for gainful employment and will continue that mission from its new home in Van Nuys.
As part of Success Education College’s (SEC) commitment to growing its system of colleges while continuing to offer high quality training programs, SEC recently announced Jeffrey Akens has joined the SEC team as its new Corporate Director of Operations. Akens brings a wealth of knowledge and more than two decades experience in private-sector education to his new role.
Sunday, October 30 marked North-West College’s Fall Commencement Ceremony. Held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, the event offered family and friends, along with College Team Members, the opportunity to congratulate 422 graduates as they celebrated the culmination of their career training.
The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) awarded initial accreditation to North-West College’s (NWC) Santa Ana Surgical Technologist Program. Set for a period of five years, the accreditation is a testament to the program’s strict compliance with CAAHEP’s rigorous standards.
