Biennial Review of Drug & Alcohol Abuse Prevention Program
The Drug Free Schools and Campuses Regulations of the U.S. Department of Education require higher education institutions like North-West College (NWC) to certify they have implemented programs to prevent the abuse of alcohol and the use or distribution of illicit drugs by students and employees both on their premises and as a part of any of their activities.
The regulations also stipulate each college must conduct a biennial review of its Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Program to determine both its effectiveness and consistent enforcement.
