In 1966, North-West College opened its doors in West Covina, California with two classes and just 43 students. In fact, those first students began learning in a construction trailer because the West Covina campus was not yet built. But College Founder Marsha Fuerst had a vision to help underprivileged individuals find a brighter future through quality career training. Today, 50 years later, that vision remains as strong and steadfast as ever.
Over the last five decades, North-West College has graduated more than 45,000 students. Today, with more than twelve programs and seven campuses throughout Southern California, North-West College is on the leading edge vocational education.
Marsha’s son, Mitchell Fuerst, now serves as President of North-West College. Both Mitchell and his wife, Vice President Lisa Fuerst, are dedicated to continuing to change lives through quality education.
