Train to be a Vocational Nurse

Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) provide direct patient care under the direction of a registered nurse or a licensed physician. LVNs provide basic medical care and help assess the physical, emotional, spiritual, and sociocultural needs of the patient.

The Vocational Nursing program at North-West College is a career-focused hands-on training program designed to teach you the skills you need to earn your diploma in Vocational Nursing and prepare you for a rewarding career working alongside doctors, registered nurses and other health care professionals.

During the course of the program, clinical training will give you the opportunity to practice the skills you learn and experience real-world work environments to ensure you are prepared to enter the workplace.

NCLEX Preparation
The Vocational Nursing program at North-West College is designed to prepare you with the knowledge, skills and confidence required to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (NCLEX-PN/VN).
