COVINA, Calif. — Success Education Colleges (SEC) proudly announces that Beylor Meza, Chief Operating Officer of SEC, has been named President of the Board of Directors for the California Association of Private Postsecondary Schools (CAPPS).
CAPPS is the only statewide association representing California’s private postsecondary education sector, advocating on behalf of more than 200 member institutions that serve diverse student populations across the state. The organization works closely with policymakers, regulators, and education leaders to advance effective policy, strengthen institutional quality, and support student success.
Meza joined the CAPPS Executive Committee in 2022 and has played an active role in guiding the organization’s governance and advocacy efforts. His appointment as Board President reflects CAPPS’ continued focus on experienced, mission-driven leadership to support institutions navigating an evolving regulatory and educational landscape.
Meza previously shared his appreciation for CAPPS’ role in advancing the sector and supporting institutions statewide. “I’m excited to continue to serve an association that has consistently demonstrated its vision for our sector of education,” said Meza. “Their tireless efforts have made it possible for our college and others to continue to change lives through quality career education.”
As Chief Operating Officer of SEC, Meza oversees operational strategy across the College system, ensuring academic quality, regulatory compliance, and student-centered outcomes. His leadership experience uniquely positions him to represent the broad needs of private postsecondary institutions.
