Train for a Career in HVAC Technology
The HVAC program at North-West College provides comprehensive training in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on laboratory experience. Students develop the technical skills needed to install, maintain, diagnose, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.
The program also prepares students for the EPA Section 608 certification required for handling regulated refrigerants. In addition to technical training, students gain experience in troubleshooting, service documentation, and customer communication.
